Apollo Commands Success With Pre-Lets

We are having continued success at Total Developments’ speculative industrial estate, Apollo Park in Crewe, where over 73% of the floor area has been pre-let and the first unit has now reached practical completion.

This month, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies Ltd (Freudenberg) has become the first occupier at Apollo Park, following us securing a 12-year lease agreement with the international firm in May this year. Freudenberg has relocated to Unit 3a, totalling 19,600 sq ft at a rent of £6.75 sq ft per sq ft.

We have gone on to secure two further pre-lets at the park, with Show Business Interiors Ltd taking Unit 2 on an 11-year lease at a value of £6.75 per sq ft. The interior designer, which works with some of the UK’s largest housebuilders, has relocated from Sandbach to Apollo Park, taking 35,000 sq ft.

Unit 4, which totals 37,000 sq ft, has also been pre-let, with Bright Grey Retail Ltd agreeing terms on an 11-year lease at a value of 6.50 per sq ft. Both Units 2 and 4 are expected to be completed by early new year.

The 12-acre site consists of six buildings in total, with two units remaining available to let, including Unit 3b totalling 12,000 sq ft and Unit 5 totalling 22,500 sq ft.

Matthew Pochin, director at sole agents, Legat Owen, spoke about the success and continued interest in the park. He said:

Total Developments recognised the evident demand for quality industrial accommodation in Crewe and its further investment in the town has resulted in this successful series of pre-lets. We anticipate Apollo Park’s high profile location will continue to attract interest in the remaining available space.
