Acting on behalf of HMG, Legat Owen (jointly with CSP Retail) have completed lettings within the extension at the Gerard Centre, Ashton in Makerfield, to Sim Trava (T/A Costa) and B&M.
The extension to the scheme adjoins the existing Iceland and other occupiers include Quality Save, Heron Foods and Peacocks.
Only one unit remains vacant within the scheme and is currently being marketed by Legat Owen.

Despite all the negative press regarding retail, it is great to see towns with a limited supply of retail thriving. The vacancy rate in the centre shows how the centres with free on site car parking, offering convenience top up shopping to local residents can continue to thrive despite challenging trading conditions. This is evidenced by the fact we have had very few voids in the centre over the last number of years.
