Three Cheers For Ben!

Congratulations to Ben Lamont, in our land and development team, who has qualified as a chartered surveyor.

Ben is now a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) after passing his final Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) exams first time.

RICS is the professional body that accredits professionals within the land, property, construction and infrastructure sectors worldwide. The APC final assessment includes a written submission and a rigorous professional interview to ensure candidates meet RICS’s high standards.

This is an incredible achievement for Ben who joined Legat Owen in 2015 and has made a valuable contribution to our business as well as being an integral and popular member of our team.

It also comes less than a year after Ben completed his master’s degree in commercial property management, which he studied alongside his APC, whilst working full-time at Legat Owen.

Speaking about his newly qualified success, Ben said:

Becoming chartered has been a long-held career ambition of mine so I’m delighted and relieved to have passed this final stage.

I am also incredibly grateful to Legat Owen for its continued support and guidance throughout this time and am looking forward to the next chapter in my career journey with them.

We’re incredibly proud of Ben for passing his APC first time- it is a real testament to how hard he works.

As an agency, we take great pride in the personal development of all our staff and give them every opportunity to progress their career with us.

Ben’s RICS qualification will strengthen our team and we are confident that this will open up lots of opportunities for him and he has a successful career ahead.
